Annemarie Neuman has always had a desire to nurture and empower others. After many years working in social services, Annemarie experienced and fell in love with Swedish massage. Annemarie has discovered that through the therapeutic touch of massage, a person’s needs for nurturing, pain management and relaxation can be met. She also believes that by supporting clear and open communication with her clients, she enables them to empower themselves.
Annemarie’s knowledge of birth and birth support were expanded when she focused on prenatal and postpartum massage. She has found that in this busy world, massage has been an excellent way for her clients to relax and connect with their changing bodies and babies. While pregnancy and childbirth are wonderful experiences, they can also stress a woman’s mind and body. A few of the many benefits of massage during pregnancy include: reducing stress, helping with insomnia, helping reduce edema, and helping with general aches and pains. Annemarie’s training enables her to work with clients throughout pregnancy, the postpartum period, and beyond.
