Transformation Life Coaching, Workshops, and Consulting
As a transformation life coach, Tina works with anyone experiencing life transitions who needs help finding and walking a new intentional path, and who wants to be empowered in the process. She helps individuals to clarify their desired outcomes, develop awareness of what’s holding them back, discover resources and creative strategies, and motivate action to support the change they want to enact in their lives.
One of Tina’s specialties is working with individuals who have experienced a major health event that has significantly changed the way they function in life, either temporarily or permanently. She believes that when a major health event confronts us, the impact on our lives reaches far beyond the physical: We may find ourselves affected emotionally, socially, spiritually, mentally, financially, legally and beyond. Our core identities, beliefs and values are often challenged at a time that we are also dealing with additional stressors, and it can feel overwhelming.
Life coaching can be extremely helpful when you are feeling overwhelmed. Rather than stumbling down the path alone, you have a compassionate and supportive professional to help you move intentionally in the direction of a balanced lifestyle. Tina’s role as a transformation life coach is to support your mind, body, heart and spirit in your own healing journey. She strives to help you move with greater ease and speed down your chosen path, and to blossom in new ways in the world. Plus, if you are working with any of the other healing practitioners at Kwan-Yin, she is happy to collaborate to streamline your health transformation.
About Tina:
Tina believes in each client’s own internal power and ability to create positive and meaningful transformations in his or her life. She respects that each client’s journey is unique, and she enjoys facilitating personal growth and breakthroughs with creativity and adaptability. Blending experience with intuition, Tina listens deeply for the meaning beyond what is directly being said, asking powerful questions to help clients gain life-changing insights and achievements.
She also believes that wellness of mind, body, heart and spirit is the cornerstone of a happy and fulfilling life. Having experienced both trauma and triumph with her own health, including asthma, adrenal fatigue, tendonitis, and a serious car accident, she is inspired to help other people transform their lives after experiencing major health difficulties.
Tina grew up in Seattle, lived in Eugene for 12 years (where she got her degree in Communication with minors in Women’s Studies and Peace Studies), and she has enjoyed living here in Portland since 1998. Having coached in a business environment for many years, she earned her certification as a Whole Person Design Life Coach in 2007. As a professional, she has over 15 years of experience in the Training and Development field, and she is a Lead Instructor at the Baraka Coach Training Institute, where she guides students to step into their own potential as insightful coaches.
In Tina’s spare time, she loves playing marimba and other percussion, listening to music, exploring and camping in the outdoors, raising two beautiful kitties, being playful and creative with friends, making jewelry, and spending time with her medieval reenactment group.
