Shannon first became interested in acupuncture and Chinese medicine during her undergraduate years studying Chinese history and philosophy at Kenyon College. The four years she lived in China deepened her interest in Chinese medicine. Both her studies and her travels reinforced her awareness of the need for balance on the mind, body and spirit levels.
Whether you have physical or emotional concerns, Shannon will work with for you to feel better. Once you are feeling better, she will support you in staying better. Shannon promises to do more than treat your symptoms or just one part of your body. She will design a course of treatment that will treat body, mind and spirit, and work with you in addressing the root causes of your health concerns.
Her mission is to support her clients in achieving a level of wellness that creates a greater sense of ease and vitality in their lives. She has personally witnessed the profound and transformative power of acupuncture treatments, and is excited to offer this possibility to others.
Shannon is a preferred provider on most insurance plans.
